The Foundry Group is a band of writers and performers committed to producing affordable, popular, intelligent touring shows with a broad appeal.

Straddling the East Midlands and South East regions, the group was founded in 2010 by award-winning writing duo Brian Mitchell & Joseph Nixon .

Associate members are comedian Joanna Neary, writer/performer David Bramwell,
playwright Maggie Nevill, playwrights and actors Ross Gurney-Randall and David Mounfield, writer/performer/director Emma Kilbey, and musicians Eliza Skelton and Stephen Wrigley.

Our ambition is to build a stable of ‘stock pieces’ that are available for booking throughout the year, year on year.

We have recently formed a partnership with Create Theatre, Mansfield, to develop new shows.

We have also launched Brighton £5ringe, a new arts festival for Brighton every May.
